AUSTRALIA: TRANSGRID

TransGrid is the manager and operator of the high voltage electricity transmission network in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, and is part of the National Electricity Market (NEM). TransGrid’s network comprises 99 bulk supply substations and more than 12,900 kilometres of high voltage transmission lines and cables. The network operates primarily at voltage levels of 500 kV, 330 kV, 220 kV and 132 kV.
